With Icynene®, complex detailing is a breeze. Cathedral ceilings, steel structures, domed ceilings, arches and other unusual shapes do not impede the performance of this unique insulation and air barrier system. Icynene® seals all cavities, crevices and voids to deliver a perfect fit for walls, attics, ceilings and floors.

Sprayed on as a liquid, Icynene® expands to 100 times its initial volume within seconds, permanently adhering to the surfaces of the surrounding building materials while completely filling and sealing all joints, crevices and gaps. Creating the perfect air-seal allows Icynene® to deliver acoustic characteristics that make it ideal for reducing airborne sounds that originate from both, the internal environment (home theaters and playrooms) and the external environment (street traffic and airplanes). Icynene® also dampens sounds around plumbing runs so that the occupants remain undisturbed by flushing toilets and running showers. The result?
