Job Stories From New Paltz, NY
An Insulation Upgrade in New Paltz, NY,

Joel K. wanted to modernize the feel of his home -- a beautiful construction from 1852. Though the home was still fully functional, it was losing heat in the winter and leaking cool air in the summer, and Joel wanted to do something that would amend this permanently. Dave Vasseur, one of our foam insulation experts, was able to meet with him and discuss the various options for the home, and Foamco Inc. was able to solve the home's insulation issues once and for all.

While the roof was being replaced, our Foamco crew was able to remove old fiberglass and cellulose insulation from the walls and attic of the structure before spraying them both with our own solution. We sprayed 9.25 inches of R-38 open cell foam in the attic ceiling, 5.5 inches of R-20 injection foam in the exterior walls (through sheetrocked slopes), and 3.5 inches of R-14 open cell foam in the structure's rim joists.

Can you give me a price estimate/proposal on 3000sf of 10" spray foam for a roof - 2" of closed cell, then 8 " of open. To be installed on a low slope roof. Old house, 1852, with poor insulation in walls and ceiling. Just had new roof put on, but would like to add insulation in the ceiling at least. Attic is clear of stuff (we cleaned it out) but there is some old fiberglass insulation, and cellulose too, that would need to be cleaned out. Thanks
