Sealing The Thermal Envelope Of a New Construction Home - Wappingers Falls, NY Sealing The Thermal Envelope Of a New Construction Home - Wappingers Falls, NY

A builder contacted us to insulate their newly constructed home. We sealed the thermal envelope from top to bottom using closed-cell spray foam, ensuring year-round energy efficiency.

We applied 5.25 inches of spray foam to the exposed roof slopes, 3 inches to the gable ends, and 3 inches to the first floor. We also applied 3 inches of spray foam to the rim joist. Most areas reached an impressive R-value of 21, except for the roof slopes, where we achieved an R-value of 38.

The builder was thrilled with the results and looks forward to more projects with us, including insulating their own home in the near future.

Job Stories From Dutchess County, NY
Insulating a renovation in Fishkill, NY

Tim F. was remodeling his home in Fishkill and wanted to ensure that the highest quality insulation was installed so that his home would stay warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and his energy efficiency would be maximized. He gave the FOAMCO office a call when the home was stripped down to the studs and met with our expert Dave Vasseur.

After giving it some consideration, our FOAMCO crew was out at his home in Fishkill, NY and insulated most of his home. We installed 4.5 inches of R-30 closed cell foam in the exposed attic slopes, and 3 inches of R-20 closed cell foam in the attic walls as well as the exterior walls of the top floor. Now his home's temperature is more easily regulated and he doesn't have to worry about the drafts that most remodels bring!

Using Spray Foam To Lift And Level Concrete

These homeowners contacted us to see what could be done to bring their concrete slab back to its glory days. They did not want to spend and arm and a leg on fixing it and thought that we could help. To take care of the issue we ended up drilling our pilot holes in the concrete and applied spray foam to the voids below it. By doing so we were able to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete and bring it back to its former glory.

Transforming Sunken Patio into a Safe & Beautiful Oasis With PolyLevel and NexusPro - New Windsor, NY

This homeowner contacted us to address a common issue – a sunken and settled patio due to years of soil erosion. The problem affected both the front and back portions of the patio.

To tackle this challenge, we employed our advanced solution. First, we drilled precise 5/8th pilot holes in the front section of the patio. Then, we injected our commercial-grade spray foam PolyLevel, raising the patio to an even and safe level.

Moving to the backside, we repeated the process, using PolyLevel to raise the sunken areas, focusing on making it as even as possible. This not only resolved tripping hazards but also transformed the patio's appearance, as the backside had experienced more significant deterioration.

Once both the front and back were properly raised to their ideal levels, we applied our NexusPro caulking system. This step ensured a seamless and polished finish to the repaired areas.

The homeowner couldn't be happier with the results. Not only are the tripping hazards a thing of the past, but the once-unsightly patio has been beautifully restored. We take pride in delivering solutions that enhance both safety and aesthetics for our valued customers.
